Chad joined the Schantz team in early 2012 as the Project Manager. Chad is responsible for all production on the shop floor and is the main point of contact for customers during the new trailer build process.
After graduating from Collinsville High School in 1996, Chad entered Southwestern Illinois College’s Welding Technology program where he received multiple certificates in different welding processes. In the fall of 1996 Chad began working as a metal fabricator and welder repairing locomotives, where he stayed until he began attending college at Murray State University in the fall of 1998. Chad went on to receive a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering and Construction Management.
Chad has since managed many different types and sizes of construction projects. Everything from single family homes to 150+ room hotels with attached conference centers. In his most recent position prior to coming to the Schantz team, Chad managed many projects for the Department of Defense, FEMA, and the Corps of Engineers, including several projects in excess of $25 million in total scope.
When Chad is away from work, he spends much of his time outdoors hunting, fishing, boating or riding ATV’s. Chad also enjoys spending time with his young son and modifying and upgrading his RZR, Jeep, truck and boats.
